Dr Jairath is known better as Den to all his patients and team members.

Born and bred in Whitley Bay he is a proud Geordie.

Den qualified from the University of Manchester in December 1993 and started his
practicing career in Derby city centre but in January 2001 joined Allestree Dental
Practice. Later that year he became practice owner until 2010 when Dr Hassanali then joined
him as Practice Partner.

Den, ever since qualifying believes in the motto “…..to treat as you would like to be
treated…”and has done his best in providing good quality dental and patient care. He
will always welcome you with a smile…!

Over the years he has partaken in numerous courses which have ensured he has
kept up to date with modern treatment techniques.

Den’s wife Anju is also a dentist at the practice, they have three children who still
keep him busy at home.

Away from work Den likes keeping reasonably fit, seeing family and friends and
travelling to the sun but anyone speaking to Den will know he loves his sport from
watching his dear Newcastle United and India Cricket Team to American Football
and darts!
